About the Music

Music That Tells a Story. Music That Means Something.

I’ve been making music for most of my life, and one thing I’ve learned along the way is that music has a remarkable ability to go places words alone sometimes cannot.

A song can bring back a memory you thought you had forgotten. It can give voice to something you’ve felt but couldn’t quite put into words. It can encourage faith, awaken a dream, celebrate a life, tell a love story, or give a filmmaker’s story an emotional dimension that simply wasn’t there before.

That’s the kind of music I want to create.

Singer-Songwriter. Composer. Storyteller.

I’m Brad — a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and composer with musical roots reaching back to the classic rock, singer-songwriter, country, and progressive music I grew up loving.

Those influences still find their way into what I create today: melodic songs, meaningful lyrics, memorable choruses, guitars, piano, rich harmonies, and sometimes orchestral textures — music with a little mileage on it.

Much of my music is shaped by my Christian faith and by themes that have become increasingly important to me in the second half of life: purpose, faithfulness, dreams, calling, hope, perseverance, and the belief that God is never finished writing our story.

Songs such as “Chase Your God Dreams,” “Where Did My Dreams Go?,” “Walk on the Water,” and “Give Your Basket to Jesus” reflect that part of my journey. My music is especially written for people who have lived enough life to know that dreams don’t always unfold according to schedule — and that sometimes the most meaningful chapters begin later than we expected.

Original Music

This site is the home for my original music — singles, EPs, albums, and other releases.

Some of it is faith-centered. Some is reflective. Some rocks a little harder. Some is instrumental. But whether I’m writing a lyric or composing an instrumental piece, melody and emotion are always at the center of what I do.

I want to create music worth listening to more than once — music that stays with you after the last note fades.

Here you can listen to my latest releases, explore earlier recordings, and purchase music and merchandise directly.

Custom Songs — Your Story Set to Music

Some stories deserve their own song.

I create custom-written songs for weddings, anniversaries, celebrations, memorials, organizations, ministries, speakers, and other meaningful occasions.

A custom song is more than changing a few names in an existing piece of music. I begin with the people, memories, experiences, and emotions behind the story and create an original song around them.

The result is something that belongs uniquely to you — a musical keepsake that can continue telling your story for years to come.

Music for Film, Video & Media

I also compose original music for filmmakers, videographers, content creators, ministries, businesses, and other media producers.

My philosophy as a composer is simple:

Serve the story.

The best score isn’t necessarily the music that calls the most attention to itself. It’s the music that helps the audience feel what the story needs them to feel.

My musical background allows me to work across a broad palette — from intimate piano and acoustic textures to rock, Americana, atmospheric music, and larger orchestral or cinematic arrangements.

Whether the project needs a subtle underscore, a memorable theme, or a complete original score, my goal is the same: understand the story first, then create music that helps tell it.

The Second Half Can Be a Creative One

I don’t believe creativity has an expiration date.

In fact, I believe something interesting can happen as we get older. We bring more life into the room with us — more victories and disappointments, more questions and answers, more faith, more memories, and hopefully a little more wisdom.

That changes the music we make.

This chapter of my musical life isn’t about trying to recreate who I was decades ago. It’s about taking everything those decades taught me and creating from where I am now.

There are still songs to write.

There are still stories to tell.

There are still dreams worth pursuing.

And there is still music waiting to be made.

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
